The long-awaited popular exhibition 'Junji Ito Horror Experience Exhibition 2' will officially kick off at the basement of Mong Kok Chun Xing Plaza INCUBASE Arena from September 19th to November 9th, with a perfect schedule spanning October 31st Halloween! Known as the 'Master of Japanese Contemporary Horror Manga', Junji Ito invites everyone to immerse themselves in the eerie aesthetic and thrilling horror works depicted with fine black and white brushstrokes, experiencing a highly oppressive Japanese haunted house. The exhibition combines an immersive haunted house experience with a precious original illustration display area, allowing viewers to enter the bizarre and shocking horror world of the master from all angles, experiencing a dual visual and psychological impact. Thanks to the strong support of fans, the tickets for this 'Junji Ito Horror Experience Exhibition 2' have been sold out before the opening. It is suggested that everyone take advantage of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays in October to gather with friends and experience the darkest journey of 2025 that must not be missed.
One ticket for both halls! Only relying on the 'life-saving rope' to grope in the dark to challenge the limit of fear
The exhibition takes the anime 'Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Horror Stories' as its theme, featuring Hall A 'Village of Atonement' and Hall B 'Town of Evil'. Led by the classic characters Tomie and Soichi, whom everyone is familiar with, players need to rely on a 'life-saving rope' to enter in the dark, gradually traversing ten terrifying scenes such as 'Tunnel Oddities', 'Headless Sculptures', 'Tomie: Photo', and 'Soichi's Pet', experiencing the primitive fear in an immersive way and thoroughly feeling the oppressive aesthetics of Ito's style. As the exhibition arrives in Hong Kong, everyone can enjoy both major themed halls at a super affordable ticket price, indulging in the terrifying scenes crafted by the master, immersing themselves in the three-dimensional dark aesthetic storylines, as if trapped in a midnight nightmare, sending shivers down the spine. To provide a better audio-visual experience for visitors, no photography or videography is allowed inside the halls.
Fear is relentless! Animation replica manuscript display and 'Whirlpool' three-dimensional scene reproduction to relive the dark classic
Following Zones A and B is the 'Mysterious Exhibition Area', where fans can appreciate the animation replica manuscripts and 1:1 restored classic scenes from 'Whirlpool' up close, as well as the replica manuscripts of the animation, savoring the unique creative world and inspiration behind the works of the contemporary horror master. In addition, the 'Whirlpool' area will use three-dimensional installations to present the most classic scenes from the manga, resembling the despair and madness of being devoured by an endless whirlpool, allowing visitors to personally experience the ever-present supernatural phenomena and curses, concluding this journey of terror with the most ominous punctuation mark.
